The Beginner practices will be focused on building better skaters and adding to their overall skill-foundations. They will skate twice per week. The first skate of each week will have a heavy emphasis on balance, coordination, edge work and backward skating, stick handling, passing and shooting. The second skate of each week will be a fun-day where small area games will be used as a means of increasing competition, game-play skills and hockeyiQ. The goal of the B Beginner Spring Program is not only to create great skaters, but to also instill the love of this game in each young player!
