Littleton Youth Hockey Association

The Littleton Hockey Association is dedicating a large amount its resources to grow and develop its C470 Recreational Program.  Below you will find a outline as to what the C-470 League is.

The C470 League is made up of Arapahoe, Foothills and Littleton. The Colorado Girls Select will field teams at select levels.

WHAT MAKES LHA DIFFERENT

The members of LHA's House Program will receive an average of (1) 60-minute practice each week and 2-3 weekend practices per month. The weekday practices will be shared with another LHA team. Weekend practices can be a combination of shared and full-ice sessions. Most weekday practices will be held on Wednesday evenings at South Suburban Ice Arena in Littleton, Colorado

LHA House teams will play 16 league games and are guaranteed to play 1 playoff game. The House teams can participate in 2 in-state tournaments during the season. 

GAMES

Each team will play 16 league games and one playoff game.  The League games will start in mid-October and end in early March.

Game Format

Warm up:   3 minutes*

1st Period:  15 Minutes run-time

2nd Period:   15 Minutes run-time

3rd Period:   12 Minute Stop-Time**

* Warm up clock starts IMMEDIATELY after the Zamboni doors have closed.

**In the event of a 5+ goal differential in the 3rd period, the clock will go to run-time.

***Teams must obey the 60-minute curfew allotted.  The clock may go to run-time to respect the curfew.

The clock will be stopped when there is an injury.  The 60-minute curfew must still be honored.

LHA currently fields the following teams in the C470 League:

Midget C470 (U18)

Bantam C470 (U14)

Peewee C470 (U12)

Squirt C470 (U10)

 To register for a Littleton House team in the C470 League, please follow these guidelines:

1. Click on "Player Registration" tab at left.

2. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to Program Listings.

3. Click on the link for the player's age level. Note: Though each link says "Returning Player Registration", these links also are New or Returning In House players.

4. Read info and click "Register Now" button.

5. Create an account.

6. Choose In House option on registration form and complete it.
