LHA runs multiple summer programs. These camps generally start at the end of May and run through the middle of August.
LHA Summer Program
Each level skates twice per week with LHA's best skills coaches. This camp offers a fun learning environment with a combination of skill work, small game competitions and various scrimmage formats.
LHA Scoring & Possession Camp - Full Day Week Camp - June
This is a forward centered camp to focus on forward skills. This includes skating, shooting, passing and stickhandling, face-offs, tight-area play, cycling and positional play. Each day has 2.5 hours of ice, 1.25 hours of dry land and 1.25 hours of classroom. Players will need to bring their own lunch. The coaching staff includes some of LHA's top level coaches and former LHA Hawks who now play Jr level and college hockey.
LHA Defense Camp - Full Day Week Camp - July
This camp focuses on all aspects of playing defense, including proper skating technique, defensive zone play and defensive strategy. Each day has 2.25 hours of ice, 1.25 hours of dry land and 1.25 hours of classroom. Players will need to bring their own lunch. Coaches are comprised of current LHA coaches and former LHA Hawks who now play Jr level and college hockey.
LHA Goalie Camp - 3 Week - Day Long
This camp is specific to goaltenders with a focus on skating and movement in every morning session. The afternoon session will focus on proper save technique, timing and game play for goalies of every age.
LHA Conditioning Camp
The conditioning camp offers 4 levels (Midget, Bantam, Peewee and Squirt/Peewee). There are six total 75-minute sessions on-ice and six total 60-minute sessions off-ice. The final session is a scrimmage. The schedule has 2 days on and 1 day off between.
